Fairy Tales and the Imagination

“Every child is an artist.  The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”  ~Pablo Picasso

The “Fairy Tales and Imagination” workshop is structured over five mornings (it could also be condensed into a weekend) using a concentrated look at a fairy tale and the use of several techniques to help extract out unique, personal images in response to the story. In this course we also expand the media at our disposal into include multimedia and basically anything goes in our quest for a final object or image. This workshop is lots of fun.   10 people maximum – also arranged in response to interest

“When my daughter was about seven years old, she asked me one day what I did at work.  I told her I worked at the college – that my job was to teach people how to draw.  She stared at me, incredulous, and said, ‘You mean they forget?’”  ~Howard Ikemoto
